NBC’s ‘Heroes’ to Debut With Two-Hour Episode

NBC announced on Thursday that “Heroes” reboot show’s premiere has been expanded to two hours. “Heroes Reborn” will air from 8 to 10 p.m. on Sept. 24. It will be followed at 10 p.m. by the series premiere of “The Player,” starring Wesley Snipes. NBC boss Bob Greenblatt unveiled the schedule change on Thursday at the Television Critics’ Assn. press tour. He also announced that “Heroes Reborn” will screen at the Toronto Film Festival, and will act as the only broadcast television show to appear at the film fest.
