BBC's Sherlock is likely the most highly anticipated television series on air. The makers recently revealed that season 4 of the series, that was supposed to air in 2016 earlier, will now hit television screens early in 2017.
The shooting for season 4 will begin during the spring 2016.
Steven Moffat also said that the upcoming season is going to be darker and will be more intense.
But Sherlock fans need not be much disappointed as the Christmas special episode, based on on the story "The Adventure of the Blue Carbuncle," written, of course, by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle, will air on Christmas of 2015.
